Metro FC default to Melville United

Metro FC have defaulted their Lotto NRFL First Division and Lotto NRFL First Division Reserves matches with Melville United scheduled for Saturday 2 September 2017.

In each instance, Melville United have been awarded a 3-0 win. Melville United thrashed Metro FC 12-0 at Phyllis Street Reserve earlier this season.

Melville United finish the season in third place with 50 points from their 22 matches, two points behind nearest rivals Western Springs and Manukau City AFC, who each have one game left to play.

Metro FC, who were relegated last week, finish 12th in the Lotto NRFL First Division four points adrift of nearest rivals Ellerslie AFC, who play Oratia United in their final game of the season.

In the Lotto NRFL First Division Reserves competition, Melville United are now in first place with 56 points. Ellerslie AFC are second with 55 points and a game in hand.
